When it takes a week for something I ordered on eBay to ship....after I asked the seller last week."It'll be shipping out tomorrow" so they said.......

Cutting it close to my trackday on Monday which requires a back protector. This is why I don't like eCommerce......

That's BS that there's anything wrong with e-commerce. You chose to work with unknown source (seller on eBay).

Instead if you chose someone like Revzilla, it would have shipped the next day...or Amazon or some similar reputable source.  Also, with Revzilla, you get "cash back" for your purchases that add up over time.  They are top notch.

Also...surprised you don't use a back protector on the street.

Pipe burst in our office building over the weekend. The neighbouring suite was pretty comprehensively flooded. No damage in our area thankfully.

The pipe broke under the concrete slab, and we're without water until they can re-route the water line.

On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

In the US, there is a holiday on Monday.

I also live in one of the top tourist destinations.

That means I won't be doing much riding this weekend. Between the tourists, lost tourists, congestion, and idiots from Georgia, S. Carolina, and Florida......it's just not worth the frustration.

On the plus side, my parents are visiting me, so I won't even have to do any driving.  ;D . And the tax revenue is greatly appreciated :)

Welp, the AC in the office is dying. When it was inspected a few week ago, they said it was likely on its way out. Confirmed.

Forecast is for 30+ degrees. Yay.

A co worker texted me yesterday, the water heater in our office decided to leak; there was a nice flood on my office floor.  Only problem is, when I've got 34 things on the go, I put file boxes on my floor.

luckily nothing of any consequence was wrecked.  As of this morning, we at least have water, but no hot.

Not being able to keep up with all the threads on here...just not enough time in a day...

On the bright side...it's so nice outside who wants to sit at a computer and feck around on a computer for hours?  Which brings me to another irritation...

Why do we have to work in summer... :P

My new windows were shipped to Saskatoon instead of Regina. Install was supposed to start tomorrow. The installer can't start on them until Thursday now.  :(

But since Thursday was yesterday, doesn't this mean you'll have the job done sooner?

The screaming kids (from one family) in the neighborhood. Not the usual "I scored a goal I'm the greatest hockey player in the world! " kid scream....But a "OMFG, I'm burning to death in a grease fire while my legs are being ground up in low gear in a wood chipper! " scream. For. Everything.

Facking brutal...piece of garbage parents no doubt too.

Roof rails on SUV's that aren't really rails but rather long raised ridges. You can't get a cord or cargo strap under them to tie something on the roof. They are useless unless you want to attach a set of cross bars.
