I've been having intermittent back issues last couple weeks......work's been stressy (moreso than usual) and I think sitting longer than usual has led to some issues, perhaps a pinched nerve or something. Doctor appt in a couple weeks, but annoying in the meantime.
Washed the car yesterday, just to pick up a screw in the left front tire
. I'd rather not be spending my Saturday morning at the shop getting it plugged, but oh well, c'est la vie.
Ice your back...will help some.
It's weird, because it comes and goes. First indication it was an issue, was when I was at my massage therapist. She said she felt no undue muscle tension, nothing terribly knotted up in my lower back, despite me saying it was causing me problems. On the worst days, I do sit at home with an ice pack behind me wrapped in a thin towel. Helps, but just.
It went away, and then has come back this past week, but it only hurts at certain angles. Sitting upright is fine, and getting the pots and pans in the kitchen isn't so bad. But if I bend over to tie a shoelace or get my riding boots on, it's !"§$% needles and pins. I also rode the moto for the first time in a few weeks today (200km) and it was fine then too. But then I was doing some training excercises, and some of them aggravated that lower back, most didn't.....
