Not for city roads or after winter. With a three wheeler you hit every bump on one wheel or another.

Some old guy (around my age  ;D ) who lives nearby owns one.
As mentioned in a previous post, this car/bike would be fun to rent for a couple of hours, but I'd never buy one.  Having said that, I'm in the process of looking for a 'fixer-upper' VW dune buggy to keep me busy this winter, and the buggy isn't any more practical than the Slingshot.
A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kickboxing.

I also don't get how expensive all these things are.  When I can get a 1290 Super Duke for <$20K, well, I can have one of the most badass bikes on the market with a LOT of change left.

I can get an FZ-9, a used Miata and a pretty decent used CUV for that money - I'd have a great bike, a nice roadster and a winter driver.  WTF?

Either get a proper bike or get a car. For $30+k I can think of so many other vehicles that are oh so much more exciting. Buy a $25K Mustang/Camaro/BRZ/FR-S/WRX/Supra/GT-R/Silvia and a $7K crotch rocket, way better times than this thing.

How is this vehicle less exciting than the cars you mention?  It's fast, handles great, part of the road feeling...

Not saying I would buy this over an MX-5, but I am not saying it's not exciting..

All of the downsides to a bike, open, no cargo room, none of the upsides, the speed and thrill of being on two wheels.

This is for the folks that want to legally drive an ATV on the roads...I have an ATV and this thing most definitely appeals to me - not everybody is interested in bikes...by the numbers, ATVs sell better than bikes.

Had no idea, as I rarely see ATV's.  And more bike dealerships around here than ATVs.. Although the Honda ones sell both...
