It looks like that in the pic for some reason. The front is riding 4x4 high right now, with room for like 3 fists in the wheel gap. The wheels are too far into the wheelwell too, I'd like them to be flush. The plan was to drop the front about 1-1.5 inches, but I may just enjoy it the way it is this summer and see how I feel. I don't want to deteriorate the ride quality at all.

Hey John, yes I did. I must have totally forgotten to reply - sorry about that! It's actually the power antenna - the grommet came apart when the rear end was taken apart for bodywork, and I left the entire thing disconnected until the new one arrives. It's been ordered, but the antenna area right now (if you can see in the pic of the rear 3/4) is taped up and the assembly is sitting in the trunk. Completely forgot about the wire and it's causing a short.

Good, glad you figured it out.  It's a stupid circuit with so many things on it - it can be tough to diagnose.  Hirschmann strikes again!!

You seem to know a lot about W126 cars. Did you own one?

Sweet - nice to see her back on the road!

I owned 201 and 124 cars which have many similarities, but also hanged out with a lot of 126 owners with the MBCA.

Nice! I love that era of Mercedes. I'd say it was about the high water mark of design and quality.

Seriously, that looks great.  How dark is the tint?

Boss. I like it sans-tint, but outstanding either way. How many Krugerrands do you have smuggled in the trunk?  :P
