I wish they'd at least offer it in the "Custom" trim level so you could get all the body color bits and nice alloys.

Finally got a painter over this weekend to do my main interior and he showed up in this unicorn.  It's a 2012 2wd shorty in mint condition.  He bought it a couple of years ago from an estate sale.   He knew the former elderly owner and the history behind the truck.  At the time of purchase it had only 17K on it, was like new, and never driven in winter.

That model is coming back!

This is how I'd want a truck for my own personal use....easy to drive and park.  I'd want a 4x4 and throw a cap on the back.
it's basically only being offered as a fleet vehicle (bare bones trim level with the only options being 4x4 or the Turbo4 and V8 engines options)...while you may not need to be a fleet purchaser to buy one (no idea how that program works), it's a pretty stripped down model...manual windows and a 2 speaker stereo...doesn't get much more basic than that.
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.

I'd be on board with this, assuming the wife has a nice road trip car.

It is possible to option it with packages that give you the power accessories, cruise control, auto braking/collision alert, alloys, etc.

I had an old single cab as a company truck a few years ago, and the first time I hit the brakes and everything on the seat flew into the footwell it all came back why these things suck

Did a bank run this afternoon to deposit a cheque and a kid pulls in near me at the same time in this lime green McLaren.
He runs into the bank before me (ahhh youth  ::) and goes through the teller line up. One of the senior bank 30 year olds dashes out his glass office and cozy ups to the tellers and fawns all over the flat brimmed McLaren kid. He seemed to be apologizing for something and interestingly sans his covid mask. He was also about a foot and half away from the kid. The kid not content to accept the apology starts complaining about the banks speed in turning around whatever bank process he needed completed. "Yo, I got no time for hang'in waiting for my 100's to be counted out for the ladies that dance for me. (thanks Hannibal) :rofl2:
Anyways, that McLaren...it sure was green.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

You can't deposit a cheque with your phone?

I'm mostly surprised the flat brimmed kid could park within the lines.

^^That’s correct. In-person, large amount deposits are faster to clear. This is especially so for large deposits drawn from US Bank accounts. Like...if you were a US Slumlord. 8) ;D
Piddling amounts on CAD banks can be done with e-transfer.

Wife texted me this morning. She was dropping off the kids at the bus stop. Helicopter lands right in front of her.
I love it when a plan comes together.

US Navy Seals visiting the Meaford Defense Base for some sort of exercise with Canadian army.  Canadians have large twin engine Zodiacs lashed together in the small local harbour, but the Navy guys load them back on their trailers as there is no dock space.

I haven't seen these Seals for a few years.  Their boats really move.
