Out for a walk this morning with the boys and we met a pair of Coyotes in my neighbourhood coming back from their morning hunt.

Yo, so I was leaving my folks house a few weeks ago and I saw what looked like a gorgeous Husky running across the street. I stopped the car to see if this adorable doggo was leashed/needed help, and he happened to come into the range of my headlights. Nope, not a doggo... not at all. I'm glad I didn't get out of the car.

I am that sucker who would stop the car any day to rescue a runaway pup.

More Coyotes this morning in pretty much the same area.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

I've seen coyotes in the Experimental Farm on a few occasions.  Usually at a distance, but I've been within 40 feet a few times.

was just about to post that...that's exactly what a runaway diesel looks like.

I'm pretty sure it's '62 Bird...with an open trunk. ;)

Interestingly, this place just came up for sale. A steal at $4.4M.

Weird time to list it.
I wonder what happened to the other cars that were parked around it - 73 Mustang and 67 Cougar for example.
Obliviously, a Ford guy lived there.

Neighbours seem to have put in place some protection from lake erosion. To me, it looks expensive to buy the propriety to bulldoze it and build something else, isn't?

Being that the lot is ~170' x 272' and waterfront on Lake Ontario that is pretty reasonable. If I can use that word and $4.4M together.
It's been rented out for years so, not much has been done to the property, inside or out including the landscaping. Owner is middle Eastern. The place with a pool next to it is owned by a family Dr. has had armour stone placed to cut down on erosion, same with the place on the other side. It's also a rental, owned by a Dentist. A kid (20's) rents it and builds tiny homes there, amongst other endeavours.

Saw a bad rear-ender on the way home from walking the dog earlier.  Wife wanted to take a drive down the main road to see the Xmas lights and on the way noticed a herd of deer feeding in one yard so we made note of that for the return trip.  When we came back there was an accident at the same spot and figured it was deer related.  Sure enough a suv hit a deer, which was flopping away on the roadside, and then got rear-ended.  The car behind looked like it went right under the bumper of the suv and buckled at least a couple of feet of the hood.  Air-bags got deployed in both vehicles.

Needless to say a bad scene! :P  You really have to be aware of deer around these parts.  They're all over the place.

It was quick! 5% x 4.78M = 239K is it enough for a Taycan?  :P

There is no reason why real estate commissions should be a fixed % IMHO. That business model needs to be broken apart.

Well, it has to be split four ways - two brokerages and two salespeople so, no. It wouldn't.

Yeah but the monopoly doesn't like that.
