We spent an hour with our coffees today down at the beach. Pretty deserted except for a couple of friendly ducks.

Annual Terry Fox run day today.
Covid turned it into a virtual event, which basically means plot your own 10km course.
I mapped out a roughly 10K route from my house to my MIL's and back.
On the way spotted this cool '79 Scout:

Sweet. Mrs. Vantage runs marathons and their annual Big Sur (California) run also became virtual. She did the 35km last Saturday and is doing the full 42.2 this coming weekend.

Saw an E-Class Coupe pulling out my neighbor's yard earlier this evening.  Never traditionally been a fan of Merc coupe designs as most look quite awkward to my eyes but this one looks great. The pillarless side windows sure help.  Like the one in the pic below but a nice medium green colour.  Don't see many around though compared to the 3-Series coupes.

Would be a competitor for the 5 series but yeah my neighbour has a E550 coupe and it’s lovely although an interesting call.

Yeah, I realize that but they do look a lot smaller than the E sedan.  They look more similar in size to a 3-series coupe although I've never seen the two close together. Nicely sized anyway.  Did they ever make a 5-series coupe?

Depends on if you count the 6-series or not.

The E-class coupe was based on the C-class chassis.

Is the current C-class coupe chassis based of the C-class chassis?

I think I see more CLE GLC coupes on the roads then I see actually C-class coupes.

Went to Montréal this morning. Saw a nice, clean, big sedan grey '80 Benz on the street curb side.

Also seen few streets away, a yellow grocery (Maxi) cart on the curb locked to a small tree with a bike U-lock...

Well, just like with a car you want to find it where you've parked it. Everything in life is relative.

Plus when you finally find a cart without a wobbly wheel, you don't want to lose it.
