Not just in the neighbourhood...on my yard.  Might be hard to see...dunno...but me called an arborist just now.  Might be able to see the big crack at the V - there's the equivalent of a large oak tree hanging over the house...but I'm not sure how long it will hold.  The crack is a few feet long on this side...although it would mean a new roof if it dropped...because who doesn't want to go through that hassle?  Gonna suck as it's half the tree...the base is probably 14' around...I should measure it, but it's the biggest oak on the yard.

^^  Trees are nice until they get too big. I had a maple taken down last spring because it was so close to my house and was starting to allow a lot of moss
to grow on my roof. It was not even close to the size of yours.  Turns out after it was cut down you could see the rot in the middle of the tree. Good call  ;D
I thought about doing it myself but didn't want to risk hitting the house. Got a tree guy to do it.

there's tons of videos on YouTube of DIY tree removals gone bad.

I would never tackle something like this myself.  That split is probably 20+ feet up and there's a total of three regular size trees branched off of it.  I wonder if it's not partially blame-able on squirrels.  Packing their nuts in the crick of the tree...who knows, they may have even burrowed a hole in by now.  Looked again today, and you can see daylight through to the other side.  Not sure if it will last much longer!!  Ticking time bomb.  Wonder if they could get the trunk down in long enough sections that it would be worth getting someone with a mill to cut 2-3" thick "live edge" boards...anyone need an oak mantle?  ;D

i think it's a jet boat?

EDIT: looks like they discontinued their line of jet boats several years ago (2012?).
