That tree is probably ready to break a part if mushrooms are growing in it. I have  seen a lot of fallen trees lately and it's not pretty. :D

Why would you pull them out?  Leave them for the bugs and critters that can use them for food.

Because it's what I do.  Tough little buggers too.  Did not want to let go.   Same reason I trap squirrels (though I haven't gotten 'round to baptizing them like by BIL does...figures he'll send them to a better place, I just drive a few miles out of town and drop 'em off where there's more trees and acorns - kinda like Regina/Saskatoon RCMP with natives but mine will survive in the cold) - because I can.

In the end, it's OK though, I threw them in the compost pile with all the dog-doo so any bugs and critters that want them can still have them.

Yup, 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Thought it was obvious with a mug like that.

I see it now.  Lately I've been confusing certain Hyundai and Cadillac SUV's with each other.  Mainly the newer XT4 and XT6 models.  Also been confusing the newer Tuscon and Snats Fa with each other too.    Eye check up may be in order soon.

"Snats Fa" - isn't that a Russian herbal aperitif? ;)

They seem to be cleaning up all the cats that people let wander around here.  So many missing cat ads.   I'm sure the rabbits are happy the coyotes are eating the cats that would be killing them as well  and not having to catch rabbits because their bellies are full.  Win win

I will sound like an swerver but I cheer when a yote eats a dog or cat. People who leave their pets off leash are the scourge of society.  :)

:iagree:  Saw a fox first thing this morning on the way to the barber shop and it made me smile.

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

You are so obviously city folk.
They've been known to grab dogs out of the backyard right in front of the owners.

Sharks bike bite around 100 people per year. Cows trample over 20 people per year. But lets not forget humans, I've lost track of how people they kill per year. I'm not so worried about coyotes.
