I guess those 241 hp are some big azz hp.

I've seen the dyno plots...it's well under rated.  Putting down ~240..to the wheels.   :o

The turbo six in the 335 pulls really hard. I have not experienced it tapering off, too scared at those speeds!

Yes.  They put down ~285 to the wheels whereas my IS350 put down nearly ~280.  The massive difference is the torque.  The BMW puts down between 50-60 more TQ than my IS350 did!!   :o

Torque notwithstanding, wish Lexus still offered the RWD 350, or better yet, shoehorn the V8 in there:)

They do..just not here.  Would be easy enough to find a CPO one though.

And the IS-F is a great value used!
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

I'd love to see a dyno comparison between the IS300 and IS350.    I can't imagine that there is as much HP differential as Lexus states.   Anyone know if the de-tuned 3.5 is just software or also hardware?

It's my understanding that the 3.5L in the 300 is the port injection engine and the 3.5L in the 350 is the D4S - substantial differences.

Ya, that's a big deal.    Wonder why the 3.5 in the IS300 is so much lower in HP vs. the 3.5 in the Sienna/Camry, etc., etc.   Those are port injected, and don't require premium fuel.    This is a bit of a bizarro offering.
Internal combustion thrust I trust

Cheaper maintenance for less performance.  Just kidding (not really).

Except it did the Lightning Lap at the exact same time as the M3 in 2012 IIRC...   3.05.4

And faster than the normal C63 and RS4....

I was just busting your hangers.

But to your point, the 2011  revisions to the suspension and handling were revelatory.  Unfortunately, you omitted the time of the 2008 version, which is the subject of my post.  It did the Lightning Lap in 3:14.  Believe it or not, the 2015 GTI posted a 3:14.6.  Wow times have changed.

The 2015 C63 is a beast, posting a 2:59, whereas the new 2015 RC-f posted a 3:05.8.  Fun fact - the ATS-V posted the same time as the C63! 2015 M4 is at 3:00.

So I say again - maintenance cost or extreme performance.  Pick one. ;)

With the IS-F you truly can have both!!   ;)

The C63S is a beast...but is significantly more than the $56K prices of the M3/IS-F.

Then I must be a whore.  I daydream cheat on all my cars!!

Yeah but the C63 (last gen) has one of the best sounds known to mankind.

A friend of mine is dealing on that blue one as I type this.  I hope he buys it as I want to drive it.

Tell your friend to at least test drive a 2011+ ISF.  The difference is substantial in how the car drives.

Only the suspension was changed and lsd.

You will never notice the lsd in normal driving.

The suspension can be swapped if it bothers you.

I took mine on track a few times,  basically nothing out there could keep up.   Even Gt3s on Hoosier lol
