Well the R-Spec version is germane to the discussion, because Jaeger wants something with a V8.
Yes...it is a good value. That's why I included it in my car shopping as well. But for something to be a good value vs. competitors, you either A) Have to cut corners B) Make a revolutionary car with new and more efficient manufacturing processes, design processes, etc. (like the 1990 LS400 vs the German competitors). And I feel the weakest part of the Genny R-Spec is the interior. By far. Loved the engine....you can tell no corners were cut here!
the first Gen Genesis i would agree...while good, it likely wasn't as good...however, i think the current Gen Genesis (and likely the soon to come G60 or whatever it will be called) were much improved...in fact, pretty much everything was improved...keep in mind, the previous Genesis's were Hyundai's very first vehicles in the luxury car segment...Lexus has been doing it for almost 30 years...the Germans, much longer than that.
all the vehicles you mentioned are really good vehicles...my point is simply that the Genesis should be included in that group...it's a very good car.
