The Mirage will only get traction in the marketplace if they start it at 8,995$.

All that lost heritage... :shake:

I have to say...this new Mirage is actually very attractive! If price is the same, Mitsu will sell lots of them.

No real changes to the power train and that's where these vehicles really fall apart.  I can't come up with anything other than the warranty as a reason to pick anything they sell over the competition.

I know you mean well, but you're being too optimistic here.  Mitsu will not sell lots more Mirages than it already is.  That is to say, it will sell very few of them.

I'm more interested in the RVR - it felt dated, which was the only real flaw that we found with it in the last comparo - it had a great powertrain and the handling was pretty good (not the best, but certainly not a problem).  ...but the interior doesn't look THAT much better.  I'm interested to give it a test drive.  The price is attractive.  I prefer the old nose.

They are actually doing pretty well in USA.  They surpassed their own expectation and selling more cars than lots of mainstream cars.

Some people just want simple transportation. I see more Mirages on the road that Micras.  If they are like Mitsubishi  Mirages of the past these cars will go on forever and be pretty hard to kill.  It doesn't do well in crash. So drive with caution.
