Well it's not hot, like the drawings would suggest but it's cute and I hope it will have a wagon-like space in the trunk. Also come to think of it, it may be one of the first non-plug hybrids to use li-ion batteries 
you absolutely right, don't know why they bother with them (its the same no matter who the manufacturer is), they are generally far from reality. They are just from the designers sketch pad with exaggerated proportions and people except it as being correct and react with comments from viewing it.
At least a close up or outlines of the
actual vehicle would be more helpful or just show it in the cladding form.
