Tesla sold 3,630 Model 3 cars in the region in February, according to data from JATO Dynamics market researchers.

Is that sold as in deposits or delivered as in people are driving them right now? Big difference IMO.

You have numbers for Germany?

Like I said....in the near 10 year span since Tesla was available....their best year there was about 3k total. I'm quite sure it will be better with Model 3. To give perspective to that, German car market is 50 percent larger than Canada, yet Canada sells more Tesla. Shrugs.

Not sure why you're in denial about what in saying though. It's nothing new. People in Germany largely like German cars, people in Japan largely like Japanese cars, etc
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Quote
Tesla delivering 3,738 units of its sedan in April. Looking at individual markets, the midsize model was mainly delivered in Norway (720 units), Germany (514), the Netherlands (467), Switzerland (492), and Sweden (446). May seems to be following April performances, but expect another Tesla tide in June.

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

May it was a photo shoot since the other Tesla look pointing on wrong direction if double line (2 way) lane road, for left drive car in N-A ...

it looks like a beached whale.

I like it better than Model 3

Model Y AWD 52k USD. minus 2500 EV gov't giveaway.

Mustang Premium AWD extended range 58k USD.  minus 7500 EV gov't giveaway.

VW ID4?  starting around 40k?  RWD? 42.5k AWD? Maybe around 50k USD with extended range & upgraded premium line? who knows.  I think this with even a larger range & AWD will undercut both of the above.  minus 7500 EV giveaway.

Polestar 2 AWD fully loaded. 63k USD.  minus 7500 gov't giveaway.

Why are you using the Mustang Premium?!!!! The entry level model is the Select model RWD @$43,895 USD

I’m using that because the Model Y is AWD with a 280 mile range.  The premium is the closest to this level albeit I expect the Mach E will come with more features.

Who cares about USD pricing  ???

I was using US prices to demonstrate what the Model Y is up against in the US market.  I think it’s going to have a lot of competition given the EV rebate situation etc. If I were in the US the model Y would be last on my list of options.

The Select AWD has a range of 210 miles for 46.5k USD.

Do you have all of the Canadian pricing?   Ie premium, AWD longer range price? The Model Y AWD starts at 66k.  Polestar 2 69k totally loaded, Mach E premium 59k RWD.  66k? AWD extended range?   VW ID 4 AWD 55-60k?Who knows.

Scroll to the middle of this page and you find the prices: https://www.ford.ca/suvs/mach-e/2021/?intcmp=bb-foc-home-none-foc-reveal-mach-e-191117&id=bb1

My AWD Select came out at $54k - but I am still undecided if I will buy it or not in 2021, incentives and gov incentives will help me make that decision.

IMHO it looks MUCH better than the model X.

Overall for a CUV, I like the line of the model Y more than the sedan model 3, it seem more equilibrated to my eyes (at least in white) and looks like a compact model X ...

The Y line looks fluid to me as a CUV could but it carry regular rear doors.  ;D

just get the new Audi eTron...looks great inside and out, plenty of range and a larger dealer network.

meh, looks too similar to the X (which is ugly AF)...as an added bonus, you can get out of the Audi in a crash/fire...Tesla prefers you stay put.
