Why not discuss battery terminal corrosion here and examine each other's sanity in "Off Topic"?
And some cretins think I hate cars.

I had terrible battery terminal corrosion on my Tundra for years.  I tried several different lubes on the terminals with no luck (di-electric, motor oil, Vaseline, Fluid Film, etc).  Got to the point where the positive connector corroded to nothing and I had to replace it.  Battery was strong so I was reluctant to replace it.  I finally came to my senses and replaced the battery and haven't had a bit of corrosion since.  I think its been over a year now.

Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
