How is that any less blingy than Ford's offerings?

I don't know....but I really like the front end of that truck. The Ford looks like bad Walmart chrome upgrade

Was talking with a couple of guys that have 2015s ' they said they are getting almost 800km to a 92 l tank ,which they said was about 100 kmmore then the last generation of truck
I wonder what the mileage will be with a 5.3l with 8 speed tranny

Depends on the axle ratio.  Regardless, the 8 speed should be a real upgrade.

:rofl2: all new trucks would disintegrate when all the chromed plastic bits hit a 5' tall Christmas tree. 99.9% of trucks never get off pavement.

Most GMs have that, part of the Onstar crap. I'm happy to see that 6.2 is still an option, that thing would rock.

Just when the 2014 nose grew on me, now this.

I like it, the High Country edition is my favorite.

Its all the wankers that want "car like ride and handling" in a pickup truck.

These new 4X4 GM trucks look like they have the ground clearance of a 90's GM 4X2.

Thats the issue, they have high step in and no ground clearance.....but they are easier to drive.

I think it's mainly due to aerodynamics.

Are they really low? Or are the photos just deceiving?

2015 F-150 has only a half inch more ground clearance (9.4") than 2015 Silverado Z71. Can't find a spec for these 2016 Chevys.

GM puts deep chin spoilers on everything now making it appear low. It's done for fuel econ.  They are easily removable if you go offroad.  I've driven the new GMs and they are definitely lower than my Tundra.  I think it's 8.9", Tundra is 10.4".  And yes GM has a better ride quality.  :P
