"land departure warning"

Is that for when I'm launching my boat and go too far down the ramp?  ;D

Interesting that Nissan has nav standard in a base $30k Murano but you have to get a near top of the line model to get it in the Infiniti.

So the wheelbase is 80 mm longer, what about the total length of the vehicle?  And how much weight did it gain in the process?

I always liked the EX35, but typical for Infiniti it was designed with form above function.  It wasn't a small CUV (about 4.6 - 4.7 metres, IIRC) yet the interior volume was no more than a Mazda3 hatch.

Love the wine coloured "body" and interior..is that watered down Merlot or Camanere lite?
WHINE.......enuf with the MILLIE-METRES and Cubic Zirconiums fer measures..one minute 109 Mm's then
10 cm's then .....add REAL measures in (..) puleeze........ 6 inches..... :P    more ballroom in the trunk ..say so in actual terms....one more suitcase..or a 2/4 and a golf bag...
Seems a tad pricey hitting $50 K or more out the door for all the toys modern wankers "NEED".....

Will sell well in upscale neighbourhoods...Parkdale and Lawrence East ;)

So this was the EX35 or 37??

Yep. Been around forever now. Needs a real replacement. I wonder how long this version will soldier on for.

How is infinity doing as a car company, I see quite a G37s, JX35s and such...but not nearly as many BMWs, Mercs and Acuras....do they have the cash and is it worth replacing such a low volume unit??

Sales in the U.S. for the QX50 are miniscule. YTD they sold 1855. In Canada they sold 1292! That's crazy.

The brand's sales in the U.S. are fairly steady. Not really moving around much at all. Canadian sales have actually grown a decent amount in the last few years.

Welcome back Saf...

I so don't get this botched up refresh. Nobody is going to want to buy an 8-year old design (inside and out). Stretching the wheelbase won't make this model more popular (customer base will remain only empty nesters) and if anything the increased volume should have gone to the cargo area which is ridiculously small.

Nissan should have better used the funds (like design a real transmission for the new Maxima) instead of wasting it on this half breed.

Build it for China, rake in the money, sell overstock in North America.

China = stretch everything

I assume the stretched wheel base was to differentiate it size wise from the upcoming Q30.
