As always a great looking car....too bad about the snowmobile CVT on the 3.5 V6, such a waste of a great engine.

Actually, the CVT seems to work a lot better on the V6s versus the 4 bangers.

Lol.  True.  What if they made a manual CVT (I.E. one with a slider so you could adjust the ratio)?

While that would be cool for logging or construction equipment....I doubt it would give me the same kind of satisfaction

LOL, my Altima has a 'manumatic' function with 6 selectable pre-set ratios.  It's nothing more than a gimmick.  The only time I use it is when I want to compression brake.  Otherwise it does nothing at all to simulate the experience of a manual.

Yep.  I think my manual slider would be cool.  Infinite ratios in manual mode.
