C30 owners love their unconventional rides, and a used copy should be reliable, too

"Used-car shoppers after a flexible five-door with available turbo power that’s sporty, unique and relatively rare should consider the C30 a priority test-drive in their shopping exercises."

This vehicle is a three-door.  People looking for a five-door need not apply.

Volvo offered a tuning upgrade for the turbo model that boosted performance up a decent amount and does not void the warranty.

I have driven these quite a bit through rentals.  I've probably put a couple thousand kms on them over the years.  I was always impressed with these vehicles and it's still to this day my favorite rental I've ever had.  Reliability seems to be good on these and I think the styling won't be dated anytime soon.  Wish they would have made that Polestar version that had over 350 hp and AWD, that really would have been a future classic.

This was always an interesting vehicle for me.  Not my taste due to the 3-door and small hatch, but it was so loaded with safety features and a minimalistic "car needs" design that it instantly stood out and amazing.

I never get sick of the look of these, which is similar to my opinion of the Mini.  There's a blue one with black trim that I see quite often around my hood and it's gorgeous.

I love this little vehicle but then my dad and I both owned 480s (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_480) way back in the mists of time.
