Out with the old in with the older
« on: August 11, 2015, 07:41:38 pm »
Last May i decided to sell my 06 miata. Had it for 9 years from new.Just wanted a change I guess. It sold fairly quickly and kind of caught me off guard with now no roadster
to drive. :'( I planned  to eventually get the 4th generation MX5 ,but this time a depreciated one. To tide me over until then I recently purchased a Smurf blue 90 miata.
188,000km .I am the third owner, car was originally bought in B.C. The second owner purchased it out there and shipped it across the country to N.S. It is quite the shock going from a third edition to the first edition. It just shows you how far cars have evolved in 25 years.
It has a few added goodies so that it can keep up with  traffic and handle the turns.

Once a Miata owner...

 ;D

LOVE that colour, car looks cherry.  I bet if you sell it in the future you either get your money back or make some.  The beauty of having a clean NA Miata.

You the man!  Congrats on the new ride.  If you do end up getting the 4th gen Miata in a few years I'm sure we're all dying to get your impressions as the new model is supposed to be a back to roots type of remake.

I was at a Mazda dealer this past weekend and the salesman said they were expecting their first one to arrive at the end of the month or early Sept.  Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Looks great and I lvoe the color. Congrats! I agree that as long as you bought this one reasonably well it will be pretty hard to lose money on an NA Miata right now.

 Thanks for the kind comments.

KDS2K There are a lot of good roads in your area as well. Our local miata club have  travelled all over the Maritimes. We have a few N.B. members as well.
So far I have driven 160,000km between the 3  miata's I have owned. That probably doesn't seem like a lot but these are summer driven cars.

johngenx When I'm done with this car  it probably won't be worth much. There's 188,000km on it now. Maybe a candidate for  a V8 though. ;D

Winklovic I've owned 3 of them so I guess I do have problem

rrocket  No they are Konig Heliums  a popular miata wheel. They are light but not that expensive [11 lbs if I am not mistaken] When I first purchased the car the factory daisy
wheels were on it. Not really a fan of those.

I bet you either lose nothing or very little.  Well, unless you beat it to death, that is!

And a V-8, is, of course, super sweet!

That's sharp for a 25 yr old car! Congrats, too.
