Did the Acura designers get demoted to work on Hondas?  Just nasty!

I like it except for that 2-foot wide chrome bar at the top of the grill. Not sure about 19 wheels either, they look nice but won't likely help the ride.

This new Accord has more 'features' than my ancient E350.

What is with the resurgence of chrome bits on recent car designs  ??? It started to creep into the German brands a few years ago but now I guess the designers are all using it now. I think the Accord looks good and has a more aggressive look much like the new Toyota's.

Definitely Acura-ized.  At least it's not rolling aesthetic boredom anymore.

This. I think it looks great for Honda. Fewer and fewer reasons to get an Acura... :P

That's gross. Current Accord is really attractive car but they just went full 4th gen TL on this.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

Wow, it's as if the Accord were TL ugly or something. Finally the beloved jewel LED headlights makes it to the everyday Accord. I wonder which trim levels it'll be on? Also coming (finally) are Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

FYI, this is TL ugly.

And this looks good.

I see the Accord has a 60/40 split folding rear seat for 2016.

really?  Well as per the quote "is the most advanced Accord yet".  I would hope so.  You don't redesign cars, to makes them less advanced...

I agree it looks more like an Acura. I might be alone on this but I am not a fan of the jewel LED headlights now adopted on Acura products and now this car. They may function fine but I do not like the appearance.

Overall the Accord needed a little something to sharpen up the design but these changes look like a step backwards based on pictures here.

Still looks better than the Camry's front IMO. Lights will take some time to get used to (along with one's spine to 19" wheels). I hope if 1 LED blows it can be replaced, not the whole cluster or it should be part of warranty.

"The latest version brings new LED lighting front and rear, a revamped interior and a sharp-looking new grille — it will be Honda’s new face. It also adopts an aluminum hood with sharper character lines and 19-inch wheels."

I agree as well.  But the Fusion, Optima, and 6 still look better.. Not sure how much things have changed inside.  I know the infotainment system has changed.  And as for the 19' rims, that just on the top of the line trim.  Other's offer 19' rims on top trims.

If I was shopping for a midsize sedan.  I would wait to see what kind of rebates are offered on the 2015 Accords.  As I prefer the less chrome and plastic look.

1) Fusion definitely. A baby Aston  :)
2) I can see 19" + rims appropriate for a corner carving sports car where track times are the ultimate justification of its worth. But getting them bundled in when I want a comfortable ride with a cooled seat and a decent stereo is plain childish IMO. If they want to include another "up-sell" feature re: wheels, just make them lighter, which is always a plus.

Can't get a Fusion or Optima with a manual transmission anymore though.

The Accord, 6, Passat, and Legacy are the last ones standing in the midsize segment.
