Thought I'd add a couple of pictures from a road trip this past weekend to the Bay of Fundy. I picked a route that avoided almost all trans canada highways. There are some very decent twisty roads on this route.
Highlight for sure was passing a couple of french dudes (Quebec plates) in a 2015 VW GTI like they were standing still. For some strange reason they were driving under the speed limits and braking rather hard for certain turns. I also had a Fiesta ST follow me down the hill into Alma, I may have drove a bit faster knowing I had someone to play with behind me.
Overall a very good trip, nice weather, not too many drivers slowing me down (most people were leaving yesterday as it's end of season), and had some very good food along the way.
Fuel economy for the trip was 7.2L/100km, average speed of 85 km/hr (which is only that high because we took highway from Moncton to Fredericton home). Left with a full tank of gas and got home with over a quarter left.
Not looking forward to switching out my summer tires for winters in a few short weeks.
