:rofl2:....5 stars for everything other than fuel. Exterior styling is 1990's and the interior looks like a Neon. But that is not what makes it special.

I'm starting to get tired of all the Hell Cat reviews.  Why aren't there more R/T Scat Pack reviews that average people could actually afford to buy?

When the new Ford GT350 comes out does this mean we won't see another GT review for a year plus?

Note that I'm not saying the Hell Cat isn't a good car or that I'm not interested in it, just that I've read about it a million times already but only a couple of lesser models in their lineup.

This would cure my "Jesus Chri$t this Crosstrek is slow" woes real nice.

Glad I was between coffee sips when I saw this:   :rofl2:

Booooo!!!!

I'm not getting tired of these reviews, simply because of the joy that oozes from them. There are many other cars that get multiple reviews, but the Hellcat reviews are unique due to the tone that accompanies them.

Oh, and this article was full of awesome. Thanks!

Excellently executed article and car. Jonathan Yarkony is The Bard of the automotive review and this car deserves a poet's description.

Love the Hellcat, but could probably make-do with this:

And..,. just remembered my brother could get me an employee discount.... Hm.

Awesome car, and very happy it exists.   But good god, what is with the interiors in so many of these domestic hot rods?

I was salivating over the Mustang GT yesterday (don't like the retro interior in that one either), but really would prefer 4 doors.   So I moseyed over to Dodge's website to price out a Charger and confirm whether they offered a V8 manual (they don't).   But even if they did, look at that interior!   It looks like what I would have drawn up as an 8 year old boy back in 1989.

Are they truly just marketing these cars to super-nostalgic boomers?  Or do they have any interest in just building a good looking car inside and out??

Awesome. Pointless to even pick nits.

I wonder how long this model will exist and what the demand for used ones will be in 10 or 20 years.

Autos.ca JUST did the Charger V6 AWD.  It doesn't get much more pedestrian than that.

Honestly, I'd be happy with a new Charger R/T with a Hemi.

I definitely agree!

JY, you hit the article perfectly.  It's not a car review, per se, it's just a way of discussing the intention, reaction, and purpose of such a beast.  Great job!

while at least you do get the point of the car snow, to say it's design is decades old and neon-like is a bit beyond just exaggeration. while this interior choice (the cheapest you can get in the hellcat) isn't my favourite, it is a hell of a lot better than many... sure if you compare it to a luxury car in that price point, it might seem like a less awesome place to sit, but this focuses on powah... and it is still a nice place to be... those who think otherwise seem to be in the minority considering the awards the interiors have won.

anywho, fun review! i do admit that it is a shame there is no manual (on any level), but they don't sell big manual sedans here... plus, the auto is faster... and apparently can handle the power better. so it's not all bad news.

not sure what more to say... i'd go b5 blue... and tint those windows...

Today is one of those days the appeal of a "stupid V8" is real high... ;D
