Visiting Le Mans is on my own ‘Bucket List’. Nice write up Jeff. Luckily the stars and moon aligned for you to make it happen.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

A good friend of mine has attended 3 years in a row now.  He said this year was definitely the most competitive racing, right down to the end.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

We'll just put the old bastard at the back of the bus and use his credit card.  ;D

Sounds good, we'll need a 1%er, bring Ted too.

TripleTurboBob and I have talked about doing Le Mans for years -- making it the road trip like he did from the UK down through France.  His description of seeing all the sweet machinery at the roadside cafes and pubs sounded as enticing to me as the event itself.

Still on the bucket list for me:  Goodwood Festival of Speed (my social media is alight today with my peers who are there now and it looks incredible -- would've loved to see the Mazda LeMans winner from '91 ripping up there).    Plus I'd love to get to an F1 race -- preferably Monaco, just for the spectacle and history of it all.

Maybe if LeMans is too ambitious for the group for next year, we could try to do Montreal F1 in June?
