Looks like Acura fans will be enjoying that dealer experience about 50% more to fix initial quality vs. Kia or Hyundai owners.

Take it with a grain of salt? How many Porsche's does Porsche sell vs how many Camry's Toyota sells?  Would that have an effect on PP100's?  How about factors like mileage? Will a Porsche see 2000 km in 90 days? What could possibly go wrong? So basically JD is meaningless...and I just figured that out now. Doh.  ::) :P

These are problems per 100 cars?

How on earth can the average be 112 problems per 100 cars? Within the first 3 months of ownership!

Doesn't that mean that the chance of having a car without problems is nil?

How many of these "problems" are those where the solution is RTFM?

A lot of problems with new cars stem from operators being window licking morons that did not RTFM.....so yeah....maybe a salt lick sized grain of salt.

Following the logic, Acura buyers are less astute than Kia/Hyundai buyers... quite interesting.

I never put any faith in JD Power ratings..... they have always seemed a bit phony somehow.

Agreed, all they do is collect data and regurgitate it all while being funded by the automakers.

I wonder if Fiat feels like they are getting their money's worth?

Can't really say after only 8 months of ownership, but my Kia has been amazing compared to my previous Mazda 3. So far the product is backing up those figures.
