But LF-A was a million-dollar supercar,
$375,000 USD ≠ $1,000,000 CAD.

...with the current exchange, it's still a not-insignificant $461,827.50 CAD though!

I'm very envious of these days you get invited to - but it makes sense.  I'll settle for a little seat time in your IS-F though ;)

All too heavy but at least they look good and are reliable.

the new RCF is worse than your 6 years old ISF?... not good for Lexus...F-sport models are just styling packages with fancy dash but with no improvement to performance...they make the non F-sport models so ugly that you have get the up sell for F-sport... have you seen the non-F NX...puke

Great photos! I had to check that it wasn't one of Jeff's reviews!  :rofl2:

I would love to take credit for the photos but I think I took 3 with my phone lol.   Lexus had a photographer there all day.   I wish more manus did that and I have more time in the car instead of dealing with photos

Ah, that explains the quality!  ;D

Personally I think great photos really make a review.  I know they are time consuming, have done many shoots, but for me good writing isn't enough.

So what would you do,  if the event was 2 hours long.   It rained the entire time and you needed to drive 6 different cars?

Doesn't give you much time to do both.

I'm not artsy in the least.   You like taking photos,  that's cool.   I hate it,  I rather poke pens in my eyes for an hour instead.

;) I'm sure it would cost more than $375k USD to buy one now, but I can't stop being literal - I'm a [persnickety] lawyer.

I wasn't criticizing you, I was just saying I like good photos when I read a review.

"The F Sport name is a little confusing for those not familiar with Lexus’s lineup and branding."

I actually find it less confusing than what most of the competition is doing. BMW, M-B, and Cadillac are seem dedicated to confusing is with the variety in which they apply M, AMG, and V designations to cars and pacakages.

At least Audi and Lexus seem to be consistent. You have the normal cars, and the S or F Sport cars. Kudos to them. I'm sure they will change to the confusing mix and match by 2017...

As for the cars, I think the IS350 F-Sport is my favourite Toyota/Lexus product being built today. Nice to hear that even with the RC F on hand, that it did as well as it did.

It is equally as confusing.  You have the "real" F cars and the F-sport which is a warmed over normal car.  This is akin to:

1. AMG Sport vs. Real AMG
2. S-Line vs. real S cars.
3. M-sport vs. Real M cars.

The only difference is that the RC is the only car with both an RC F and RC F-Sport. For all the other models, there are the "normal" models or the sportier F-Sport. There is no IS F (right now), GS F, etc...

I had forgotten about S-line though. So Audi is in the same boat as the others. Which leaves Lexus the least confusing of the bunch. Of course, that is somewhat akin to being the tallest midget...

OK. Lexus is just as stupid as everyone else.

I remember reading about this car, but for some reason I filed it away as being a revamped F Sport. My bad.
