Could the next Prius be sexy?
Lol, no.

...it'll likely get the valvematic thing from the Corolla LE Eco, which will increase the highway fuel rating.  I'd wager there could be something new about battery placement or even battery type, leaving the NiMH to the basic 'c' and using LiIon batteries for the regular liftback and PHEV (as is currently the case for the PHEV).

That, and perhaps some drop in weight?

It'll likely loose a bit of the wedge shape, but not much.  I'd expect the funky split rear-glass will remain.

That and Toyota just filed for a patent on the "Prime" name under Prius. Could the Prius family be expanding again?

It'll depend on what other vehicles will share the Prius' TGNA architecture (aside from the Prius v). A lower centre of gravity and maybe some suspension tuning (wasn't there a rumour a while back about the switch to the double wishbones for the rear?), it could help it handle a bit better. I drove the CT200h which I suppose has double wishbones in the rear (I don't know if its CG is any lower than the Prius) but it handled well in the hard-packed snow I drove on without engaging VSC. I was impressed. If only it had a bit more power... I'm sure people will be willing to pay a bit more coin for the CT if it had more power than the Prius (but perhaps less than the ES so as not to step over its toes).

Dunno.  I already thought they made pretty good looking land speed record cars.

So the new Prius will be coming WITHOUT any windows?    just little slits on the side, and a rear / forward set of cameras for driving?
Like that Toyota model car in the photos?

I've already seen the Prime "Aqua" concept.  It looks like it could be a Prius.  Maybe the sporty one.  Who knows...Vaporware until otherwise.  The front sorta reminds of a GTI....

An article and topic about a hybrid and no negative nattering about the value of such cars. Are the critics off duty?
And some cretins think I hate cars.
