The infotainment screen wars are approaching the comical in the race for the biggest.  Pretty soon there will just be a large hi-def 52" screen in place of the windshield and a winner will finally be declared.  :rofl2:
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

If you need instructions on how to start the car and which pedal is the brake....give back the keys.

Don't most automatics without pushbutton start not require you to press the brake pedal?

I'm not so sure that i agree this thing is 'pricey' given its competition feature load, and promise of reliability.

Still, this should be a good week :)

Re: instructions on how to start, I've not seen a can that doesn't do the same thing once the fob I detected.

$65,000 for a gussied up Honda Pilot with failed badge prestige. Better ways to spend that kind of cash.

Really like these - looked at a used one when we bought the Acadia, hindsight prob should have gone that way... Acadia is nice, but every time I see one of these I have a bit of regret

Considered the Geman competition last year when shopping and ended up getting the MDX.  Price was better.  Styling is so-so but it's comfortable, reliable and decent on fuel (13L/100km city) considering it is a heavy vehicle.  290 hp may seem low but it's got some decent pull and handling.  According to Car&Driver, it scoots from 0-96km/h in 6.4secs and does 0.85g on a 300ft diameter circle.

:o That's pretty quick for a behemoth!

My sole point of comment regarding price is that, while a lot of money when viewed on its own, it's really cheap compared to its competition.  This one is loaded to the t!ts at $65k.  Go price out a Lexus RX with the only option you want being Navigation - you hit $60k MSRP, plus freight/PDI immediately.  Arguably, the MDX offers a lot more in a package that is no less reliable.

Every time I drive a MDX it impresses me. I don't care for the wideish turning circle but other than that it is a fine station wagon.

A gently used MDX will be at the top of the list when its time to leave the CR-V behind.  I do prefer the styling of the previous gen.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.

Really neat, James, about the "auto" seats!  That would be a fantastic feature for me, assuming it works as expected.

I really like the MDX, even if it's a little busy on the centre console.  My brother hated it, though, when he went out and got a Sienna.  I'll have to :stick: and find out why.

The only real problem with this MDX now is the Quebec licence plate affixed to it ;)  Just teasing!  I love La Belle Provence!!!

How's the fuel economy been thus far?

Wife says if we don't get an Odyssey its going to be an MDX.

My heart says MDX by wallet says Ody.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.

Be careful. When my wife says things like that she's trying to trick me.

You only have 1 baby right??   Odyssey seems like family overkill until you've got minimum 3 little monsters, no?

Talking few years down. It depends though. Depending on timing might be able to get by with what we have for a long while.

Shame about the outward visibility - the RX suffers from the same peril, as it does with a giant turning radius.  While it's not 'ok' to me, it is the norm, unfortunately.
