Speaking of colours, I wish Mazda had been more adventurous with their choices.

That's what future "special editions" are for.  ;)

I'm really liking this color. Supposedly the same blue that's available on the 6.

I thought this was meteor gray?  It's what I have.  Mazda6 doesn't have any blues...

Yep.  That with the fact the Mazda is easier to live with on a day-today basis and the much nicer interior, it appeals to me more than the S2000.
And, every review I've seen gushes about the thing.  Can't wait to get my hands on one.

I am rather intrigued to see what Fiat does with the same chasis.

bastards, finally got rid of the grey, and put in a blue.  I always seem to get screwed with the colors I get.  2008 Mazda6 Grey, 2010 Mazda5 White, 2015 Mazda6 Grey!!!  I had to settle for these choices.  Mentioned before with wanting the Red Soul.  But you cant get it, in the GS with manual and luxury package.  So no luxury package in the manual, GX is fine by me.  But then less colours, :-(

Meteor Grey is darker. This looks new, a mix of Teal and Meteor Grey perhaps. Either way an incredibly gorgeous car. From the reviews it appears Mazda has returned to its roots with the MX-5 and really fine tuned the concept to a 'T'. As said previously, Miatas really need to be driven to be appreciated. On paper it is 'ok' but get behind the wheel and something really transforms. You don't need to get zen-like to see and feel this. I think those that don't understand the car, or wish for more power etc., never experienced the wonder of freedom and the open possibilities. It's a car I know but for many that is exactly what driving it captures.

Anyways I'm surprised no one commented on the arm rest...

Not really an issue since the centre tunnel sits so high

Yep.  That with the fact the Mazda is easier to live with on a day-today basis and the much nicer interior, it appeals to me more than the S2000.
And, every review I've seen gushes about the thing.  Can't wait to get my hands on one.

If we're lucky, Fiat won't change a thing! Alter the styling some and call it a day. Although, the 1.4T from the Abarth - if it can be modified for RWD and fit into that engine bay - could be an interesting change.

Re; comments about the white,  it looks like an off-white almost light grey to me, pretty sharp with dark grey/black wheels & black top.

It's called ceramic. It has hints of greyish-blue in it. I hear there is a great video review featuring that car. ;)

Unrelated - Did Mazda bring a car into the courtyard during dinner? They had the radio playing in the car only and it is loud!

There won't be an issue with the intake noise overwhelming the exhaust with that motor.

That could be an interesting set up indeed, especially if they can keep it sounding the way it does in the 500.

Do normal-sized people fit into this car comfortably or should only jockeys apply?
Since October 2015 the Junior PM has been in office.  Record mega-Billion deficits as he p*sses away our future.  An economy gutted. Stinky POTHEADS rejoice. We are going down the drain.

6'1" - yes.
6'4" - a little difficulty, but roof could close.
