Isn't this a bit overpriced for less than 150hp and based off the Mazda 2 platform?
Honestly, I'm tending to agree. The base starting price is too much. The top end is too much. The middle GS trim is 'ok'.
Jacob, again with the 50 shades reference?!?!
and yes, we absolutely will have a head-to-head shootout of those two during our long-term test.
*infiniti +1!
Mazda of Toronto (Yonge St, south of Steeles Ave) has the CX-3 now in 'some' stock. FMIL is currently taking it out for a test drive. She is driving a 2013 CX-5 and hates it (but loved the 2014 Mazda3 GS hatchback that she gave to her son). So far all I've heard is that she LOVES the look of it, but I told her to take her golf clubs and see if they fit in the trunk with the seats up. They do fit in the Mazda3 hatch.
Also, she drives around her parents (90 and 92 years old), so the backseat space and, more importantly, ingress/egress, will be determinative.
Am I to understand that there is no closed centre console? I'd hate that and it'd be an immediate stop for me. I hate clutter and want it all hidden.
