Interesting that complaints were so few.

I knew a few folks who had this, but got rid of it due to cramped interior space.  It's also narrower than most
(182" long, 71" wide).

I think the space is fine given the footprint, but it is tight for more than 4 adults.

If Converse (high cut running shoe) ever made a vehicle, this would be it.

I see a lot of these on the road. Not my . Interior seems nicely appointed.

This is a hatchback that doesn't even look like a CUV.  Perhaps that is why it is so cramped for space in it's (so called) class.

"Some owners have reported premature wear or even ripping and tearing of the leather seats, and in particular the driver’s seat."

This is a common problem on G35s as well. The leather on these Infinitis looks better than it actually is. The battery draining issue is also common on G35s and stems from a small compartment near the passenger firewall that can't house a larger battery, which would help with all the electronics on board. Likely it's the same setup on the EX.

Despite that, these vehicles still represent an excellent value and I would choose one in a heartbeat over it's German competition for reliability and servicing costs.

I love the exterior of this thing - it just looks good. The interior not so much, but the exterior... Premium fuel and thirsty V6 counter the looks for me though.

Is the 3.5 in the EX the same as in the Maxima? I've read of problems in the Maxima that require a block (or engine, can't remember) replacement.

I went looking for crash ratings on the IIHS site, but they don't have complete data for it. GOOD for moderate front overlap and head restraint and seats.
Lol.  Early (I.e. 2003) VQ35DE's needed replacement due to oil consumption.  It was fixed in 2004.  Pretty robust engines since then.
