Yeah. I figured wildlife strike or into the back of a larger vehicle. Shame. Oddly, that Mustang was one of my favorite cars. Strangely it received the most compliments of any cars I've owned. Almost every time I took it anywhere I'd get random compliments or thumbs up.

Not sure if this link will work so I'll paste the description and photo in but someone managed to spend $40k+ on a Citation ... with NOS!

1980 Chevrolet Citation 5-Door Hatchback
Modified GM 3.1L V6  Approx 17,000km built by NAPA AUTOPRO- Seymour Services
Campbell River, BC
$10k Custom paint job done by CSN No 1 Autobody Campbell River, BC
(Beige W/ Opalescence Sparkle + Black Pin stripe W/ Fading Red)
Rebuilt transmission
Have all the receipts for work done which total 45K+
Very unique build that has to be seen in person to appreciate it.

If he gets anywhere north of say, $25 grand, that’ll probably set a world record for highest price ever paid for a Citation.

Seems tough to sell anything modified too. There's a built up Miata that's been sitting around here forever. Price keeps dropping

This is great!  Equipped with a 318, 3-on-the-tree, no power brakes, no power steering, no a/c.  As basic as they came.
