I should really look at something like that as a daily.  Junior II will be 16 this year.  Junior I and II could split use of the Tundra and Civic for daily stuff and I daily the LS.

They can be money pits apparently, might be the thing. Sounds like you need to PPI thoroughly and be prepared for some high dollar fixes:

^^ I like the idea of turboing the Slant 6. Everyone else removes them and throws in some interation of  a V8. Vice Grip is doing a LS 318 in an old Duster  presently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehGHFJUcOB0 Part Mopar part GM.

I have a soft spot for the Slant 6,as my Dad had 3 of them in various cars in the 60's and 70's. Learned to drive on a 76 Volare.

Friend of mine is restoring a 76 slant-6 Duster to original spec.  It's been sitting in his mother's garage since she retired it back in the day.  He talked her into keeping it for him as a project back then, so it's about time.
