I was bidding on this custom roadster creation that is the combination of a MG B centre section, full size GM chassis and a second generation Camaro interior. The body is not fiberglass but all metal. I suspect it will go for more than I want to pay as it is
at $1000 for 8hrs to go. Sad. Perfect GBC car. Apparently runs and drives (I could not verify as the battery was dead). Did have brakes though.

Lots of amazing other stuff in the same auction.

Someone paid $5,100 for that thing!  :o It's an abomination, but I was hoping you'd end up with it, that would be a really cool project to follow. If completed well, it might be kinda cool...

My favorite year of the 4th gen, 97; pre-facelift body with the facelifted interior. Black on Charcoal looks good too! That rot in the dog leg, cracked fender and that left rear tire with zero outside tread make it a lot less appealing though.

Lots of auctions I miss living away from Calgary. Regal isn’t one of them. Good luck to anyone who buys a car there….

Here's the correct link: http://www.autotrader.ca/go/19-12692740

That price actually seems reasonable.

Yep. It's also one owner and Carfax backs up low km.
It had an accident - $3000 repair which is not that much considering....

I don't know why but I've always wanted one of these...in this form/style.  Many moons ago there was one not far away - V8 swapped, bright orange metallic...I just think they're pique (peak?) S10...
shi# I'd probably even leave the 4 banger in it.  Better on that $1.50+ gas than a V8 would be.  And I have no skills for engine swapping so there is that...but it's just cool...except for the tailgate and Caddy taillights.  That was a mistake then, and it's a mistake now. $9995 might be a bit much too...unless there's the right person.

See?  Yuck...would take much effort to return it to something that looks nice.

Could've put some effort into cleaning under the hood for cryin' out loud.

Alternatively, this could be kinda fun, no?
1963 VW Beetle - rag top!

Even has a matching interior!  ;D O0

I like that S10 too....Very similar to mine, but I have the ext cab and the 4.3L. They were cheap trucks and most of them didn't survive well between abuse and misguided modifications (like those Caddy tails), nice ones are getting pretty scarce now....and prices are starting to creep up a bit. Funny enough, I had some same rims on mine at some point....Boss 304's, they were very popular in the mid 2000's mini-truck scene.

I'll be watching that DTS on BAT, just for interest sake. It's clean, but the underside has seen a lot of salt in it's 34K miles. Not a fan of the light tan interior either; I am bias, but when it comes to a big Caddy like this, black on black is the way to go. GM got cheap towards the end of production (2010/11 I think) and dropped the availability of a black headliner, which is unfortunate.

Getting pricey!  The radio station I worked for gave away one and I got to drive it before the winner took possession.  What a blast I had!
