No expert on Allantes but the 4.5L might be the best motor choice in these. Less trouble than the Northstar and more power than the 4.1. Seems like a decent price.

That's interesting. Apparently it's a Chinese copy of a Russian copy of a 1938 BMW design

Can see why they swapped out the engine

And the cooling system. A friend bought one of those a few years back in the States. Lost an engine before he got across the border because of overheating issues.Fortunately lots of spare engines in junkyards  there. As old guys can't drive very well. ;D
