^^ Nicely optioned coupe with 3 pedals! The number of X car permutations was incredible, amongst the four nameplates, 4 body styles, drivetrains and all the trim and options.

Growing up, I remember the hatchbacks being very common but I don't recall ever seeing sedans or coupes. My neighbours had a baby blue hatchback that I can remember breaking down in front of our house and them leaving it there for a few days back around 1990.  ;D

I really liked my Omega. Never did give much trouble. Wheel bearing, CVT axle, some sort of engine sensor, the famous GM hinge bushings. Huge step up over the 510.

Our family had a 1980 Skylark Sport Sedan V6 in black with the same wheels.  It was a good looking car.  I took it down the drag strip and ran 18.32 @ 75 MPH.

Had some rear squat right from the factory.

That would be an extremely rare car today. I can’t ever remember seeing a Skylark Sport. Another rare X would be the Omega ESS.

ONE single X-Car in Canada on Trader and it's here in QC. Similar creampuff to the BaT car but lower trim and content:

The Pontiac Phoenix was the best looking of the X-cars, imho.

No Reserve: 32k-Mile 1980 Pontiac Phoenix LJ 4-Speed

Sold for $16,750, higher than I thought it would fetch.

A lot of the BAT stuff goes for crazy amounts. Sort of like a mini lottery win for the sellers accepted to list.

The Pontiac is a neat car but not one I'd spend anywhere near that cash on.

Crack would be a better idea than a Malaise era, 4 banger economy car....to each his own I guess.

Your chance to own what Motortrend Magazine called "absolutely the worst car of the 1990s".

I'd love an X-90. Always thought they were neat.

If it had a small back seat for dogs that would make a great toad for behind the motorhome.   I always thought they were useless, but interesting.

No idea what this is, found it doing a "drive through" in Hudson Bay SK...but whatever it is, I want it.  FBC (it is British right?) be damned.

My question is...how is there a Hudson Bay in Saskatchewan?
