Turbo swaps into a K-Car are easy.  Chrysler had turbo K-Cars for mules when the Daytona/Laser were being designed.

How about this Mexican Dart?  We know it as the Dodge Diplomat.  However, it was never available here with a manual 'three on the tree' transmission as this example is equipped.  Note: no headrests which were mandatory in the US on Jan 1/69.

Yep the Yorker was turbo. The nicest Chrysler turbo was the 2.5 balance shaft unit. I’ve owned two, one in a caravan and the other in a dodge spirit.

An Acadian guy who fished with my father used to have an Acadian.   They aren't Pontiacs, they were sold at Pontiac dealers and internally labelled as such, but were their own marque.

I also know the guy who owns this one, he tracks and autocrosses it with us.

Yeah, Jud has a company, Team VDG, that does demos and stuff for manufacturers.  I'm actually having lunch today with another friend who works there.   I bet a few of the automotive writers on here have met them.
His Acadian Canso is quite a beast.

Acadian was both its own marque and model at various times. The later Chevette based Acadian was a Pontiac model. Same thing on the Ford side with Monarch. It was its own stand along model then became a model name on a Mercury in the 70s.

The want is strong for this one. A good chance its a nightmare however with the turbo engine swap.

Ernie Penner, of Osborne, Manitoba, raced this Acadian in NHRA Super Stock for a couple decades.  It would get funny looks occasionally from tech staff at United States events.
