I always appreciated that it was a poor man's Jaguar.  And it was in an era when there weren't many good handling American sedans.

Funnily enough, my mother owned a 2004 Jaguar X-Type 3.0, so bought the year after my fil got his LS-V8.  My fil was a Ford exec and they both got new Ford products every two years.  Oddly, that thing turned out to be a tank.  She gave it to my nephew after she couldn't drive anymore, and as a gift for getting his BBA.  He drove that right up until last year when he finally got rid of it as it became too expensive to keep running.  Almost dead reliable up until the last couple of years.

Thought this was notable for the odometer reading.  https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/moncton/2014-toyota-tacoma-ext-cab-2wd-st-1777/1637655129?undefined

And on the opposite end of the odometer spectrum here's a 2014 Jetta with 462,000 km on it. They have it parked out front with huge letters advertising the mileage on the side. https://www.vwmoncton.com/used/2014-Volkswagen-Jetta-id9082502.html

If this is mechanically sound, it should be gas-n-go.  You won't have to worry about scratching the paint.

My colleague traded this 1987 325i in at BMW Moncton as part of his deal on a new M4 vert:

https://www.bmwmoncton.com/vehicles/1987/bmw/325i/dieppe/nb/56375470/?sale_class=used

Noticed a prominent local BMW collector is selling his E28 M5 through the dealership.  Saw this one up close at the "50 Years of M" event earlier this fall.  Beauty with an amazing exhaust rumble.

The wheels on that M5 are awful and the price on the E30 is insane.

Does that M5 belong to the guy with the M1?

I would not pay that amount for either, regardless of if they are in mint condition.  Maybe for the original M3 in mint condition and period correct everything, but not for those two that's for sure.

Yup, the M1 guy owns/owned that M5.

I could not believe what the dealership gave my guy for his 1987 vert.  Take the money and run!
