Those twinspark Alfas are a dime a dozen. What you want is the GTA with the glorious 3.2l Busso. Those will be the future collectors items, not the fleet spec.

Good time to get into the early to mid 2000s imports though, prices are lowest. If I had different life priorities, a Bertone styled LHD Alfa 3.2 GT in red would be on it's way from Japan right now. One day...

We bought a red one, brand new model year 1988, my wife wanted a 4WD and that model was the least expensive one you could buy.
Well, underpowered (IIRC, 66Hp or so) to my taste to move even  tiny 4wd   ::)

I test drove a Tempo v6 5spd 2dr about a year ago. It is was quite zippy.

I remember Car and Driver testing a two door '92 Tempo GLS with the V6 and manual and basically calling it a mini SHO.

My first car in Israel was a red Justy, cheapest car money could buy at the time. 1.0 GL, FWD, manual, 55hp. I installed an aftermarket A/C later, when it came on it was like applying the handbrake. Sold it 5 years later for the same nominal amount I bought it.

BAT gets you top dollar for a car like this minus edge cases like some weird cross border situation so I can't imagine the seller will get more in the short term elsewhere. They could keep it and bank on an increase in value I suppose but I can't imagine more than 33k USD is achievable.

 :iagree: The seller appears to deal in classic truck though, so presumably they know what they're doing.

Absolutely, but trucks in this spec and condition don't come around often, so you take what you can. I agree though, Vortec > TBI.

One thing I noticed about it too, it's a Z71 but without the G80 locking diff - same as that other GMT400 I shared recently. Dumb way to spec one of these IMO.
