Yeah, that's probably where I saw it. CollectingCars has it listed on FB marketplace as well, under their own format.

Nice clean shop there  :winner:

He's doing an engine swap on his 996 right now in that same spot. He was at the track & starved it for oil & blew the original motor, so he picked up a used 997 Turbo (Metzger) motor and is putting that into the 996. He's done a once over on engine, coolant elbows, cams, all the known weak points are getting a once over. He's built custom motor mounts, exhaust, etc... last post was installing the exhaust back in February, so he's getting close to done, been over a year at it now.

Damn, that sounds like a cool project. Is he documenting this anywhere?

A few pictures on his Instagram & Facebook is all I've seen on it.

Okay, maybe not THE coolest...

My buddy and I drove a lot of these when we worked at a Dodge dealership in the early 80s.  We had fun with them.

Similar to the Aries I bought for Rev. Mine was a bit more affordable.  ;D

The styling is polarizing, but I love it.  Has one of my favourite mods: a transmission with more gears!

If you want one its not the worst price to come out of BAT. Attention to $ spent at a car show is pretty good if that was a goal.

Seems a shame to scrap a GMC motorhome. A school bus or similar would be less of a loss.

Who knows, could have been a fire or something.
Nice thing about it is the low deck height because there's no axles back there.

Hopefully the cover comes off Roxie this weekend, I have work to do
