You have no idea what a pain in the ass the door line was back then & all the freaking parts that had to be installed on each door. Every 35 seconds a door was completed... so half a minute to install your parts before it moved onto the next station. They had so many different shades of beige & grey back then as well, so you had to make sure you grabbed the correct shade for the little lock pull at the top of the door by the window.

A nice surprise seeing a 300M on Bat, as I don't recall seeing one before.  Will it fetch $10k?

Every interior is now black, so it "should" be simple now.   :rofl2:

Seems like I should list my car in Vancouver  :o

Are you still waiting to see if you will get the chance to buy that Camry presser?  I know your A3 has been repaired now and seems okay, and you don't really use it much, but I also think costly repairs could be on the horizon and getting out when the getting is good isn't a bad decision.

I pinged my contact yesterday to get some news on that car. I mean, if resale in this crazy market means getting msrp...

Other presser options: 2021 Mazda3 Sport GT Turbo awd, available next month and probably the same car I reviewed (polymetal over red), and the 2022 Legacy Limited GT I reviewed, available around April.

https://www.autohebdo.net/expert/20211027/subaru-legacy-limited-gt-2022-essai-routier/

No idea on prices for these three. The Camry is the unicorn / last call as the XLE + AWD combo was only available in late 2020 units and for the 2021 model year. And from my searches, except for the 2020 and 2021 pressers, both the same colour, I've never seen any listed or on the road.

2018 M240i, 6 speed manual, premium essential, 39kms, $55k.  :o ::)

https://www.performance-bmw.com/vehicles/2018/bmw/2-series/st.-catharines/on/53671866/?sale_class=used

MSRP in 2018 was $47.3k, plus premium essential package (im guessing around $2500).

I spotted a minty-looking and well-optioned 2016 228i Xdrive auto for $21k, has around 100,000 km - seems reasonnable.

Also spotted a minty 128i for less than $10k - how's life with yours?

Year / mileage on the 128i?

And after typing my above post, I received an offer from BMW to review the '22 M240i. Really looking forward to Spring Break now  :skid:

Awful colour combo and an automatic? No thanks.

The four other drivers of the household made it clear that if I'm to swap cars, no sticks need apply. And I'd rather have this beige on beige invisible bimmer than a flashy one modded with a Magnaflow and cold air intake. Should I go below $10k for what will mostly be a stay-behind car, might as well have a bit of fun with it... Older tech, but this is probably less fgc than modern bimmers, still has a sunroof and heated seats. Probably as good in snow as a deer on ice though...

It has my favorite GM engine of the past 20 years or so.  I wonder if it'll go over $100K, probably should.

A co-worker of mine purchased a nearly identical C6Z a couple weeks ago. Same color, but plain black interior, his has a few thousand more miles (but under 15K). Sent him this auction and I am sure he'll be glued to it, lol.

That's a $50K-$60K car at best, in normal times.

Middle of winter deal right here: very low km's EB Premium Mustang 'vert with stick for $30k.

Edit: I would totally daily this. Mustang 'vert very easy to live with on a day-to-day basis, had one for a week back in 2019.
