I'm surprised there has not been more imports under our 15 year old rule but maybe they are still pricey in Mexico?

I'd love to import one, but I haven't asked how much, because I'm assuming it's more than I could afford.

Shipping a small car from Arizona is about 4k$, including custom fees. Been there  ;)

Another strange new/old hybrid in Edmonton. Likely the same guy who works fast. A lower, 2wd truck might have been a better donor.

Can I come with?  We'll buy two.  That'd be an epic journey home.  All Cars go to Canada (close enough to heaven right?).

One will probably end up a parts car to keep the other one going all the way up to Canada.

No, we're talking about the Beetle.  At least I thought we were...maybe I read it wrong.  I meant the Beetle.  Although I wouldn't be opposed to a nice Dart either.

No, it only became legal to import a vehicle from Mexico to Canada like a year ago.

And for this vehicle to be admitted, it basically has to be a car that was certified for sale in the USA.

And a 1995 Beetle definitely wasn't...as is the case with the GR Yaris.

As soon as I found out the GR Yaris would be available in Mexico, I immediately tried to buy one. But found out it wouldn't be admissible because of that rule.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Wow. Good basis for a project car if you want something to mod.

I'd keep it as-is - looks clean as a whistle! Interior appears new, this ain't no barn find!

That the original paint?

$12.5k seems pretty steep for a Mustang with 400k km.

Impressive mileage. That's not original paint though, looks like a fast respray with paint in a lot of places it shouldn't be (wheel wells, that little plastic mudguard thing at the front, etc).

A botoxed survivor  ;D Don't know if that's the original engine too, I'll try to catch up with my 2-doors down neighbour - he owns the dealership. All their used stuff is overpriced.

That's a 3.7l. Asking price is nuts.
My 2011 has 125000 so it's worth 17k?

No, it's a real GT with the 4.6 V8. Back then the V6 was the truck engine, not the high-feature 3.7.

Oh boy lol. Looking for a $20k truck for half price…..and having the nerve to be so demanding and fussy at the same time. I can guarantee these are worth far more than $10k. The guy sounds like a jerk right from the start anyway.

Jokes on me if he actually gets someone offering a Tundra so cheap.

I feel like replying to him with the perfect truck. Then let him down because after all, I’m a dealer.

Not sure this ad is real, but all he has to do is look:

https://www.autotrader.ca/a/toyota/tundra/calgary/alberta/19_12109976_/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&orup=2_5_5&sprx=-1
We’ll see. I’ve sent a message, I’ll buy it today if it’s nice.

Any news? The ad is still up...

That's some big miles on that stang! When I was involved in the local Corvette owners club there was a guy with well over 400,000 km on a C5. Daily drove it year round commuting between Olds and Calgary. Said he had no major repairs aside from a fuel pump that cost over $1,000, other than that just regular maintenance.
