Hyper clean, and probably the only mass-produced wagon to have had pop-up headlights!

Edit: do watch and listen to the driving video, it's a gem!

Crazy how much glass that thing has

Exact same shape as "J body" Chevrolet Cavalier, Pontiac Sunbird & Oldsmobile Firenza station sibling except different front nose.
Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

The early J-Cars were sharp. Nice, crisp styling, myriads of body / trim combos and clean interiors right up until GM's molten grey Velveeta period. Drivetrains were the letdown.

Oh boy lol. Looking for a $20k truck for half price…..and having the nerve to be so demanding and fussy at the same time. I can guarantee these are worth far more than $10k. The guy sounds like a jerk right from the start anyway.

Jokes on me if he actually gets someone offering a Tundra so cheap.

Not sure this ad is real, but all he has to do is look:

Seems far too good to be true. 2wd but still…

Oh yeah, pretty much all the GM's of that era were good. I had an X body Omega, and that had very good visibility too.

Probably the main complaint I have about the RX is the thick pillars+short windows+rear tint means the vision to the rear 3/4 is not great

Of course in a crash the RX is probably about 10X safer than these pop cans

Seems to me the RX had the lowest death rate of all vehicles on the market (forget how that's measured, like deaths per million miles driven or something).

That's true.

And there was a run of 6 years where they're wasn't a single death according to the IIHS...which seems impossible to me since there are so many on the road.

Your lust for one in that condition is not irrational.

Ours does feel like driving in a vault, have not seen doors that thick since the 70's. Combine that with fairly early adoption of active safety might explain it

I was going to say older, more cautious drivers, but that can be a minus as well as a plus

Classic 300CD no-reserve auction with the car here in Montreal. Astral Silver over blue MB-Tex, can't beat this combo. Standing at 4.5k USD with 2 days to go.

Amazingly clean for such a high-km car!

It's beautiful.

Leaning Tower of Power! Exact same colour combo and about the same model year as the then-new car my parent's landlord's wife had. The man himself drove an old D100, also green. Hers was a Plymouth though.

1995(!) One-Owner VW Beetle!

This car features a Bosch Digifant-II computer-controlled fuel injection system, front disc brakes, hydraulic valve lifters (no adjusting the valves), and screw on oil filter.

^^ 14,900 USD though...

The late Mexican Beetles were a hodge-podge of bits and pieces but the modern add-ons to the old air cooler are pretty nice.

I'm surprised there has not been more imports under our 15 year old rule but maybe they are still pricey in Mexico?
