Always loved these little things...
1972 Datsun 510

Or one of these.
1977 International Harvester Scout II

Maybe less bright would be nice.

BAT's a horrible way to spend time...so much for putting in OT!!

I have a BRE 510 in a box with my AFX slot car set.

Still amazes me to see Scouts with no rust on them. Seems they rusted before being sold. But they still look pretty good - it was a great design at the time!

The Scout name may be coming back on an electric off-roader as Volkswagen now owns the name, after purchasing the group that owned Navistar.

^^ Those old Scouts were cool. Apparently they also came with a Nissan diesel. Vice Grip brought one back to life recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVeJfZv_HFE

There is a guy in town with one of the world's largest International collections (including big trucks) who has a good number of Scouts.

^^ I was going to post that one for you  ;D Note how the rear quarters are butted right up to the front fenders, doing away with the doors!

Meets Dent's odd duck requirement, with semi-difficult part sourcing yet totally charming and practical. Also, it's in AB. So clean though - anything on the to-do list?

Oh I like that! The MkIII is rare in Canada. The automatic is a bit of a bummer but the condition is amazing.

As a kid neighbours had a Cortina sedan, British racing green of course. We had a Peugeot 404 at the time, followed by a 504 - would have loved for one of these two to stick around in a barn!

I just noticed that Busso powered old '27 Ford.

Yep, going nuts. Beautiful.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

The builder was an engineer for Alfa-Romeo in the US. He used a pre-prod Busso from a 164 that served for emissions testing. Nice way to recycle parts!

Oh boy lol. Looking for a $20k truck for half price…..and having the nerve to be so demanding and fussy at the same time. I can guarantee these are worth far more than $10k. The guy sounds like a jerk right from the start anyway.

Jokes on me if he actually gets someone offering a Tundra so cheap.

When's the last time you saw a Buick Skyhawk wagon, let alone one in this shape?
