Beautiful car.  I love the wire wheels.  The cross-ram intake is always an attention getter.

Yup, that's pretty darn hot...even though Virgil's style was a little strange (maybe one of his ancestors got hired at Lexus??  ???), that is one sexy beast.

Virgil? I was gonna say, it looks a bit too Thunderbirdy for my tastes...

Beauty!  I saw a coupe version at a local car show a couple of weeks ago and wanted to get a pic to post for you but there was a crowd of old guys mulling around in front of it so i didn't bother.  Next time.   ;D

My old Studebaker. I wonder if they got the transmission to stop making horrible noises? Minimal rust is not accurate. Its not dire but certainly some very DIY rust repair in that car. (All of which I disclosed when I sold it so they aren't unaware).

At work, we had on hand a customer request to find them an old DC motor frame & electrical rating from the 70's because they have no more usable spare. I told his rep to find one with the exact same frame, c/w a good commutator & armature with some life remaining, its was as easy to find a Studbaker with a rebuild motor ...

So many more cars in AB than in MB...

I'd like this one...
74 MAVERICK 302 4SPD $13,300
Proper small bumper conversion too, the only way to have a Maverick

This guy's insane...1979 Lil Red Express for $13,500 - it's a $3500 truck buddy...total POS and because it says Lil Red you think it's a 13 thousand dollar "collector" Scoff...it's not even all steel!  And it looks like shi#!

Or this guy...2 yrs ago this would've been a sub $2000 car...for $5000 you could've gotten a pretty nice one.  For $5000...hard pass.
1985 Z28

Used in a movie...explains the too small wire wheels.  Easy fix for a nice old 1968 Impala ragtop.  Might even be worth the asking price.

Sigh...shoulda bought low...can't even afford Firms old T/A anymore if this is an actual you can get it number.
1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for $17,000 - coulda bought a nice - as clean - without the ugly seats T/A for around $7-8g pre-Covid...can still find a nice(r) late 90's Camaro/TA for less than this.  Hell an early 90's Vette can be (could be?) had for less.

In my head the Maverick and the Impala might actually be the only two where I wouldn't chastise the seller.  ;D  I like what I like.

3rd Gen Camaro/Bird pricing makes no sense....To your point, you can get a 4th gen car cheaper, and it's a better car by all metrics (except styling IMO). You can even get a C4 Vette, even a late LT1 C4 cheaper than you can find a decent 3rd gen f-body now.....I used to buy them for $700-2000, and turn them down above that, when I was in highschool. Guess I am gunna be hanging onto the two I've got because I won't be buying more at those prices.

On the other hand, this 1995 Miata looks like a very clean build.

Hmmm...92 Vette for $11,000...

Or 72 Torino for $21,500...

Too much $ for the Torino.  Only good year though - I like the funky 1 yr only front end.  Probably the one and only reason I like it.  Still...full brake and suspension upgrade...5.0 Coyote swap with a manual...lots of work to make it really cool.
