What would a 2011 GMC Serria SLT extended cab with 160,000 be worth ?
That would largely depend on the first digit of the VIN. If it’s a 1 (US built) I’d say 17-18K. If it’s a 2 or 3 (Canadian or Mexican build) probably $15k. This is wholesale $.

Also, rust is a issue in that model. Extra $$ if it doesn’t have any!

I did not know this - why the different valuations? What year range is this is thing?

when Importing to the US from Canada if the vehicle is built outside the US it gets a nifty tax. So a '1' VIN is worth considerably more. Many US dealers wont even touch 2-or3 VIN. The more the unit is worth the more the tax.

This despite NAFTA? There's no duty on cars imported to Canada if they're built in the U.S. or Mexico.
It’s a relatively new thing. Think it came in last fall. One of the things Trump slid through.

Sounds like a lot of Canadian made used cars have suddenly become more affordable.

Part of those USMCA deal things about the actual percentage of the components in a car for it to be considered built inside USMCA  I think.    It had to be over 70% or something.  Isuspect the idea was to stop the Detroit 3 from building even more cars/parts in Mexico with the lower labour costs and Canada  got backhanded.

This Camaro presents the kind of build that, while possible in theory, one does not expect to actually see, even more so today. Hoping this one gets the full rotisserie job and stays true to its build sheet!

250 cu.in. straight-six
3-speed manual
No console
Radio blank plate
crank windows and manual locks
Manual steering and brakes
No A/C

Factory options seem to have been limited to sport mirrors and tinted windows!

I love the green and partial hub cups on that Camaro. Awesome. The six and manual is a neat configuration.  8)

The SRT-6 is the one to get.  An additional 115 hp fixes everything.

No stick with the SRT6 though, and I'm not sure the spoiler improves the looks.

Love that Camaro, I'd drive that as is.

The Crossfire is just an R170 SLK, and the SRT6 = SLK32 AMG. A seriously underrated performance car, but not sure why anyone would want it in the Chrysler wrapper? SLK32 can be had for the same, or sometimes even less, money.

They were dirt cheap about two winters ago. Like all used the prices are silly now.

One of the regular coupes is listed at $5k. May need some deferred maintenance at this price  ;D

Lots listed in Ontario, $6-10K buys a decent regular one. Even found an SRT6 for $17K, which is a lot of AMG for the money:

I miss that old late '70s California craze for custom small trucks! many factory units like this Arrow capitalized on that.

How did I miss this one?

No Reserve: 1980 Plymouth Arrow Pickup Sport

It reminds me at college, a friend of mine has a diesel VW Rabbit pick-up, quite small for a pick-up I must say.
