Last week my Taco TRD Pro's cab floor was 24 inches from the pavement.

How high is it this week?

I imagine this would suit TPL well.  I imagine he had one of these new.  Any other ex-pat Brits get a tingly feeling of home and nostalgia?
1961 MORRIS MINOR $11,750
It's even got the steering wheel on the proper side for this country...I like it.  It's cute.

And it's a proper stick.

No worries about your license in that thing.

Hmmm...I think I like it...
1989 Camaro IROC Z(ed) $13,500

It's even in my favorite colour for the year a colour I like too.  Painted my friends 52 GMC truck this colour.

Interior looks good too.

It would be a nice driver.

I love the Iroc convertible, but there's a lot I don't like going on there. It's been resprayed and unless the photos are screwing with it, it looks like a non-factory shade of blue, the factory shade is lighter. That would also explain the missing Iroc decals on the doors. Aftermarket replica Iroc rims, yuk. Interior has been re-done in some sorta vinyl (?) they stuck with the factory colors/pattern, but the workmanship looks mediocre. Firebird steering wheel and aftermarket pedal are not my taste, but easily reversible. Ad claims '350 5-speed' but such an arrangement was never available in a convertible so it's either been swapped or he's got a 305 in there and just doesn't know (that's my guess).

Yeah, I thought of the colour after I posted it.  Was hoping it was just the shadows...does look too dark once I thought about it.  Still, I do like that blue, even if it is wrong.

And if it's a 350 - chances are the twit removed the EFI and swapped in a "it's got a Holley Double Pumper" on it. Blech...I'd want drivability - not facking change the jets, damn float (bowls) are sticking again, turn up the idle, turn it down... And I'm OK with the bigger 18's instead of 16's.

Maybe if one took a real close look it would be a good 20 footer.  Get within 5' and you might  :-\ :-X :hurl:  Might not be worth the asking.

I should've bought that MazdaSpeed Miata last year - or that Cobra convertible - both were cheaper than this thing (is hoping for).  Ya snooze ya lose...plus it's just a fantasy...not all of us can have a 10 car flotilla.  :P ;D

Dad and I bought a theft recovery 1989/90 (can’t remember exactly) IROC ragtop years ago. Was a beauty, really low K (around 50k iirc) white with black roof. It had the 305 TBI/auto. What a dog. I remember one thing about that car like it was yesterday....getting beat by two girls in a 2 door Oldsmobile Alero at a stoplight race to about 80kmh. That was an embarrassing defeat for such a cool looking car with a muscular V8 burble.

All good observations but the garbage and general sloppiness did it in for me right away.   :P

One thing that struck me was the almost vertical position of the parking brake lever.

I think that maybe the work of the Sebring/Corvair hybrid some pages back. He was selling his Corvair creation to make room for the new project. I assume this is it. How is this profitable? Keeps a blind guy busy? I dunno.

There was a Sebring,a few pages back undergoing a similar transformation.
