Sorry. You call the above crap interesting? Give your head a shake and wake up from your nostalgic dreams :)

Ha, not saying that they were great vehicles, most were crap, but at least they were interesting and you had choices.

Something I haven't seen before.

Rare Bachelor Cab: 1965 Volkswagen Transporter Pickup

Weird, there is a steel supplier in town that has similar design, half cab bigger trucks it uses to transport long pieces.

The Tempaz might be the only one that's worth its asking price.  :P $7g for a POS Fairmont? Because it has "FOX" roots? WTF...that's a 3 number car at best. $965, $695...fack no at $6995. All. Day. Long.  My dad wanted (suggested) I buy one for my first car back in 1987...IIRC (which I'm sure I don't) it wasn't much more than this total POS, and it was the "sporty" one with stripes and a masive 255 CI V8!

I bought a 318 Scamp instead for $950.

Wow, that's so weird it's cool.  I'd like to drive that around just to see and hear people's reactions.

The Fairmont ranks as one of the worst vehicles I've ever driven.  I've driven lots of vehicles that were way past their prime, and some maybe shouldn't have been on the road, but the Fairmont was total crap right from the factory.  :P

Taking a walk one night a saw a new Malibu in a driveway - sharp looking car we never see. I'm getting crossoveritis with my 2020-21 crop of reviews. More fun stuff in line for the summer at least!

Saw that Malibu again on last evening's walk - then noticed the tiny lights in the grille  :cp2: detective car! So yes it's just a fleet car...  :P

Did it have the 2.0T or 1.5T?  Hopefully the 2.0T since it's a detective car.

I noticed on the 2021, the lower creases that run down the side of the body are much bolder and sharper than on our 2016.  I'm surprised GM would go to that expense on a slow selling sedan.

Detective cars are whatever is cheap to fleet, and it looks like a base Malibu, so probably 1.5t. When I had my '08 Sentra, a detective dad at our daycare also had one as his function vehicle - a CVT Sentra with grille lights. Truth is, with urban context and no high speed chases encouraged, base engines offer plenty these days. All police Chargers in the province have the V6 - 305 hp is plenty. Laval has a fleet of various EV's on trial for detectives. So yes there's a black Model 3 with integrated police lights that may pull you over...

I always wanted one of these in AWD ever since I got a ticket doing 90 in a 50 downtown Wpg...fast little cars.  I wonder what you do about the TOD though since this person isn't the owner...hmmm...$2000!! Take it or leave it!

I really liked the next generation Talon better.  The one with the odd hump in the hood.  That's the one that I'd like.  They were cool little cars back in the day for sure and quick.

They were popular back in the day. Then they suddenly all disappeared. Most led hard lives I think.
