If we're being pedantic, wouldn't it be "AN historic" and not "A historic"?

NO F@CKING WAY.

a history
a hippopotamus
a historic event
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...

Correct.

It's "an" if the H is silent.

If we're being pedantic, I said exactly that four posts ago.

So...like "it's been a honour to have known you" then.  It's a honest question.  A elephant in the room. No wait...no H there...hmmm...

Speaking of delusional people...who's into fishing?  Need a new boat?
1976 T-Bird - no price though...4800 lbs of suck.  But still, starting to get kinda cool (unlike a '76 Mustang which could never be cool)

Despite not knowing what he's asking, I'd be willing to bet it's a grandeur price.

Mmmmm...cushy too...

Ford's not your thang? Well then, how about a couple of overpriced Caddys?
1977 Eldo's - first one, $6200 haha dollars.

Meet Barney

Or for a asking of only $6000...the white elephant:

Then a guy who posts his own warning in his ad...($14000 obo saftied till Nov.idiot plz move on n stop dreaming ...)
1984 Mustang for $14k

Might have at least finished up the interior.  ???

And, how not to post an ad if you want to sell something: a AWD car...doing a burnout...and you want five THOUSAND for that POS?  LMAO...

Pretty sure this is one of the really rare vans sold as a Kia only in Calgary as a test run for the brand. Really a Mazda of course. B2200 pickup based.

Wow.  That's quite a few grand more than you paid if I recall.

And man, those do look best in silver.

That's what we call good timing.

It's pretty much the worst time to buy anything right now lol

It's nuts!! Last summer I found one in Oakville that Ted was going to check out for me, it was priced at $19k and had around 90k kms if I remember correctly. The silver one I posted has about 10k kms less than I have on mine, but is priced $9k higher than what I paid last August.

Yep, I could probably sell my dirt bike for more than I paid for it new. Not a good time to be buying anything. I can't believe I managed to haggle the price down last year, just at the start of lockdown!

I'd love a van or something of that size. But not right now and certainly not for $6.5K.  :o

Kia Besta

One of them managed to escape to St. John's in the late '80s.

Kia Canada likes to pretend they didn't exist.

Spring is in the air (well not today, -6! C'mon!) - top down fun is on your mind.  You've got $20g to blow...how would you blow it?
FGC? 1991 500SL Mercedes Benz for $18g

GMC? X2
1999 Camaro SS  LS1 6 spd standard. 80,000 kms, $18,500

Or
2002 T/A WS6 also LS1 6 spd car, $17,500

Also somewhat crappy pics, looks like a clean car though)

Bonus round.
Build it yourself...
1970 MGB Project $3000
"set up to run an LS with a 4L60 trans"

Or Blow the Budget

Would go with none of those and get a 6sp Maserati Spyder or import the nicest 916 Alfa Romeo Spyder 3.0V6 out there.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.
