They cost about $5k just to import/bring over. Why that one? Not sure. Looks in nice shape buts its pretty mainstream, automatic and a bit meh to deal with the rhd.

Yeah, importing that seems like an ill-conceived plan.

I'm tempted by the Lancia ... no real details and short on photos.

of all the things you can import...that Civic would be one of the last things
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

With a stick interest would rise, as this is basically a 4-door Si. While nostalgia is there for me, agreed that this is tame next to my neighbour's Skyline.

$4400 for a wrong hand drive JDM learner car?    :o ::)  Not.

I would kinda like this...maybe not a convert, but they sound so cool, and it looks nicer than the one Yuri bought;D
2014 Fiat 500C 2dr Convertible Abarth $14,290

Fine, I'd even take it as a convert.  It'd be a blast in the city.

I drove a 500 Turbo coupe with stick, red like this one. Basically, that rare version was a lower-output Abarth with mufflers (the Abarth has straight pipes!) And yes it was quite a hoot to drive!

I would totally rock one of these as a DD instead of the Civic, but I imagine it would burn twice the fuel and be half as reliable, while not being able to keep up with traffic on Lagimodiere (which I travel on multiple times every day).

It would be fun to transplant a modern engine with about 120 hp in this thing.

Anything over $2K for that is insane, it's a POS. And will crumple like a cookie tin at the first sign of a crash.

I wonder just how good the manual is on this thing?  Think it's as good as a 'snick snick' Civic manual transmission?  :rofl2:

Well, Tavarish and his buddy there stuffed in a slightly hopped up version of the engine out of the Fiat X/9, so it effectively double the power of this horrible thing to 100hp.....I still don't think this would be an enjoyable method of transportation.
Lighten up Francis.....

Oh, I'd rock that C4.  Love it.  Curious why it wouldn't be safetied?  Why not just do it and remove the question from the purchaser's mind?

Yeah, looks like a solid C4 for the $. That'd be over $10K here. Looks like it needs weather stripping pretty bad, and I am not a fan of those C6 wheels, but otherwise I like it. As for the year; 92 is the first year of the LT1...The LT1 offers a significant horsepower bump (maybe 40-50hp?) over the older L98, though some guys still prefer the L98 for it's low end torque. It's not quite as reliable as the older L98, but it's still decent in that regard. 92 & 93 use some unique ECU that is known for being super finicky and is probably the biggest negative to those years; 94-96 got OBDII and a new, much more stable ECU. Still, the cars are so well documented and supported that it's hard to go wrong with any C4.
